Classic greasy spoon. Very reasonably priced and delicious. I got the 2 pancakes 2 eggs and bacon. The pancakes reminded me of how good pancakes can be, the bacon had a slight maple flavor, and they cooked the over-medium eggs to perfection. All for 7.95. Also, our server was quick with the coffee refills. This was my best diner-style restaurant experience in Milwaukee.

This was a long time bookmark that was open at 6am on the 4th of July so I stopped by for breakfast, I like going out for breakfast on holidays before cooking.
The place is very old looking and kind of dumpy/dive with lots of wood and mirrors to make the place look bigger. The breakfast menu in not very big but it has all the usual breakfast items. I was going to keep it simple with eggs, meat and toast. I was seated and watered immediately and I had no issues with the service.
I ordered the two eggs with sausage patties, hash browns and toast. The toast was the generic/commercial three only, white/wheat/rye and nothing better. I ordered my hash browns with onions which were kind of hard with slightly under cooked potatoes. The eggs were perfect sunny side up. The sausage patties were thin and nothing special. The generic wheat toast was nothing special, a good piece of bread should always be an option with breakfast.
Overall this was a super average breakfast and nothing special so I would not be back because Milwaukee has better options around. -

Great hole in the wall for those that have never been (and no disrespect to the comment hole in the wall) that is what I call a place that many people visit if you know the area but if you don't it's a hidden gem. The decor on the inside reminds me of a coney island that I go to in Detroit with good breakfast food and company. The price is reasonable for breakfast and you really can't go wrong with anything you order.

Staying nearby, we needed a pancake fix. This place did the trick for my wife. I read reviews and opted for the Polish Scramble. It did not disappoint. Eggs were spot on and tons of flavor in the scramble, lots of layers. Pancakes were very good. Only if they had Boysenberry syrup...

After spending a surprisingly long time looking for a place that was more traditional breakfast than trendy breakfast I decided on Michael's because that's my husbands name and they had a number of skillets on the menu (a feature that is lacking in nearby establishments). Our service was wonderful and the news was on TV, so that's always a good start to the day. I got my signature breakfast apple juice and was pleased to be given a whole glass bottle of apple juice for only $2.25. Usually for that price you only get a swallow. Michael and I both got skillets which were very large in portion size. After seeing gyro advertised on the sign outside, I did the Greek skillet. The meat was delicious, potatoes cooked to perfection, and the tzatiki (sp?) was just wonderful. The feta cheese was fresh and they weren't stingy with it either. After a leisurely meal we paid our totally reasonable $24 tab and left with a smile!
